All About Us
Founder of Runners who Rock Kayleigh says:
"I’ve always struggled with my weight and the motivation to exercise. A couple of years ago I stumbled across virtual racing and it instantly appealed to me. I found myself in the gym at weekends, and even on Boxing Day just to complete the target miles/km for that month to receive my medal! It was a huge part in keeping me motivated and I have always recommended them to people.
I started Runners who Rock because I found that all the medals were related to films, books or whatever was in fashion at the time. There was nothing for music and for me, that’s a huge part of my everyday life – I listen to music at work, in the car and when I exercise.
Rock music inspires me whatever mood I am in and I wanted to make medals to reflect that. All our medals will be inspired by a band or a famous song – artists like AC/DC, Fleetwood Mac, Bruce Springsteen and Bon Jovi.
I really hope that I can build a community, and introduce people to new rock songs they haven’t heard with our playlists – most of the bands I like I either grew up with or through a song I liked at a festival."
Runners who Rock offers medals for people who run, swim, cycle & walk and who also love great rock music. All our medals are inspired by rock songs with playlists for each month.

As our community grows, we will start a leaderboard for each medal - watch this space!
